STATE CERTIFICATION
Missouri Certified Activity Director
ADAM offers a State Certification to identify those Activity Directors that have the abilities and training to be quality professionals. This is the ONLY certification in the state of Missouri. The Activity Courses offered by organizations in Missouri award Certificates of Attendance, this IS NOT the same as being Certified.  It is however an important and necessary part of becoming certified.
The Purpose of the ADAM Certification Board is:
"To establish state evaluations and standards for the certification and re-certification of individuals who possess the competencies of the activity professional, grant recognition to individuals who voluntarily apply and meet the established standards and adhere to these standards."
